The PM&R Division in UC’s College of Medicine focuses on enhancing the functional abilities of individuals with various injuries or diseases. As a leading clinical division affiliated with a nationally ranked Level I adult trauma center, opportunities abound for clinical care, teaching and research. PM&;R physiatrists work closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapists, psychologists, rehabilitation nurses, prosthetists and orthodontists, primary care physicians, and subspecialists throughout the greater Cincinnati area. The division is focused on
providing the highest level of rehabilitation care to those in Cincinnati and the surrounding areas.

May We Help

Sometimes, a device is all that stands in the way of an individual with a disability achieving independence or pursuing their passion. And when that device is not available in the marketplace, that’s when May We Help’s volunteers step in. They are a team of over 75 engineers, industrial designers, inventors, welders, woodworkers, seamstresses, doctors, and occupational and physical therapists whose skill sets come together to design, build and deliver custom devices at no cost to hundreds of clients every year.

The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation

The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation is a non-profit organization based in the Cincinnati area and reaches people across the tristate area and wherever there is a need. The Bridge envisions a community where people, regardless of ability, can fully participate in competitive and leisure activities to improve their quality of life & health. The organization works to increase awareness of adapted sports and recreation, empower existing programs, help develop new programs/ teams, provide and customize adaptive equipment, and improve research to improve the experience of adaptive athletes.
