Just in time for baseball season…
Our Volunteers are hard at work in an effort to build eight Batter Up Machines in time for baseball season!
The Batter Up Machine, originally designed for the Joe Nuxhaull Miracle League, allows individuals who are not able to swing a bat to become more independent with batting. With a pull of the string, the device swings the bat for them. This has put smiles on the faces of many children who for the first time can ‘step up’ to the plate and watch as their ball soars through the air!
